I received my bachelor’s degree from the China Academy of Art, School of Innovation Design, in the Institute of Social Strategies, with a focus on architectural theory and spatial design. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Department of Intermedia at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, with a primary focus on sound art research and sound creation. Since 2020, I have been exploring sound creation, initially through experimental theater soundtracks. In 2021, after founding the theater group “Aimless” with friends, I began to reconsider the role of “soundtrack,” gradually elevating the position of “sound” in theatrical expression. Through this process, I developed a distinctive mode of expression—hovering between ambience, noise, and soundscape—seeking a form of pure listening that resists categorization. In 2022, I established the long-term sound creation project “What Does Meaning Sound Like?”
